homely vibe, clean twin room, thoughtful local recommendations
The bathroom layout felt cramped, especially if you're tall or bringing lots of toiletries!!! The curtains did a poor job of blocking out light, so prepare for an early wake-up if you're sensitive to that!!!

delightful stay but a minor issue with check-in timing
The warm hospitality from Christopher and Morag truly enhanced my experience. The breakfast quality exceeded my expectations, especially the homemade marmalade which was a delightful treat.
The only downside was the timing for check-in, which could be improved.

A Truly Memorable Stay
Our family enjoyed two nights in a cozy twin room. The breakfasts were a delight, featuring fresh ingredients and varied options. The hosts went above and beyond, providing helpful tips for local eateries. Don’t forget an eye mask if you prefer a dark room!

The bathroom usability can be a bit tricky for taller guests or those with numerous toiletries, given the limited space. While the immediate area around the hotel may come off as questionable at first glance, it quickly becomes a non-issue upon entering the property. Parking could be tight, but usually there’s a nearby spot available, which might require navigating some narrow streets.

Had an awesome time! Morag is super warm and made us feel at home. The room was comfy and nicely done up. The breakfasts were something else, especially the homemade jams! My granddaughter loved feeding the tortoises. Only wish the bar area had more seating—it was a bit packed. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
