An electric kettle, a stone fireplace, and an iron were available in my single room. Central location was a plus. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby The Galvanisers Union.

There was excellent food, the staff was excellent. The twin room was airy, included shower facilities, a hairdryer, and terry dressing gowns. The property's location was excellent and absolutely perfect, to the Turner gallery.

The bathroom layout felt cramped, especially if you're tall or bringing lots of toiletries!!! The curtains did a poor job of blocking out light, so prepare for an early wake-up if you're sensitive to that!!!

The warm hospitality from Christopher and Morag enhanced my experience. The breakfast quality exceeded my expectations, especially the homemade marmalade which was a good treat.

Our family enjoyed two nights in a cozy twin room. The breakfasts were a delight, with fresh ingredients and varied options. The hosts were really good, provided helpful tips for local eateries. Don't forget an eye mask if you prefer a dark room!

The bathroom usability can be a bit tricky for taller guests or those with numerous toiletries, given the limited space. While the immediate area around the hotel may come off as questionable at first glance, it quickly becomes a non-issue upon entering the hotel. Parking could be tight, but usually there's a nearby spot available, which might require navigating some narrow streets.

Morag was a fantastic host, our breakfast was plentiful with homemade options and accommodating our dietary preferences. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lovely garden added charm to the atmosphere. It would be great to have more options for evening entertainment nearby.

Fantastic stay with a personal touch

Morag is super warm. The room was comfy and nicely done up. The breakfasts were something else, especially the homemade jams! My granddaughter loved feeding the tortoises. Only wish the bar area had more seating-it was a bit packed. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

I had a good stay where Morag's homemade bread and marmalade were lovely, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. I'd definitely come back!

The garden was a dream-a relaxing oasis where I sipped my morning coffee and soaked in the sunshine. Plus, the breakfast spread was divine, with fresh, homemade treats that gave my mornings a deliciously cozy start.
